Tax Incentives
There are a variety of incentives available to energy consumers who install energy efficient equipment or measures. These include federal tax credits, state rebates, local rebates and utility rebate programs. Because the incentives are offered by multiple entities, each program has different rules making it difficult for consumers to get an accurate idea of what is available. To simplify the process, visit Recharge Colorado for tools that will provide a personalized list of the rebates and tax credits available to you. - Database of State Incentives for Renewables & Efficiency (DSIRE) is an ongoing project of the North Carolina Solar Center and the Interstate Renewable Energy Council (IREC). It is funded by the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE), primarily through the Office of Planning, Budget and Analysis (PBA). The site is administered by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), which is operated for DOE by the Alliance for Sustainable Energy, LLC.
